Purposeful, purposed living
I figure that we are all here- on this earth-for a purpose. Yes, I said it. It isint by chance that we sit doing the things we do, meeting the people we meet and in general being the people we are everyday of our lives. So if we are purpose driven people...then surely each life should be lived differently, zealously, passionately in alignment with that pupose.
Question on my mind (and Im sure Im not alone), is what does this life look like for me...
Seems to me a whole lot of life has been scripted: at 3 you go to creche, 7 you start the first of 12 years of school. You then go onto the "best 4, 5 or 6 years of your life" and hopefully get a qualification out of it- yep University. Hopefully at this stage, you meet the man of your dreams, if not you're warned it will be harder in the "real" world!! You start working, you get married, you start popping out bambinos. You get to your 30s wishing you were still 20. Just as everything on your body starts heading southwards, Your life begins again at 40 and midlife starts at 50. By 60 you retire and hopefully have saved up enough to live comfortably. Yes as comfortable as you can considering your health starts deteriorating, and you now living the "golden" years. And then that is it. You kick the bucket.
Seems Mundane. Plain. Pretty Boring.
Yes some ebbs and flows of this life are determined by nature. For example, as a woman you have to realise that there actually is such a thing as a biological clock. If you want to start a family, then that should be observed. You also do find that mood swings and hot flushes will unfortunately form part of the golden years. Some things you cannot run away from.
But...
Life is sprinkled with moments, in between these mundane and plain times where one will see their purpose, and live it- if they care to look closely enough. In between the creche, puberty, best years of their lives, bodies sagging, life beginning again, and golden years...there is a possibility of living LIFE EXTRAORDINARILY.
All you have to do is look....I know I am.
